Joseph obtained both his master’s degree in clinical social work and bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University. He has over 15 years’ experience working in several different treatment milieus that include inpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs and outpatient treatment. Joseph has specialized in working with individuals dealing with psychiatric issues and substance issues. He sees adults throughout the life span that includes meeting with the geriatric population individually as well as couples. Joseph enjoys working with a wide range of behavioral health issues including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and substance use issues. He utilizes an integrative approach specifically designed to meet individual’s where they are currently in their change process and uses techniques from a variety of methods such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT).
