About Kelsea Gussler (She/Her)

Kelsea Gussler, LISW-S is committed to offering compassionate, person-centered therapy to individual adults across Ohio. She creates a supportive space encouraging you to explore your prior experiences, develop a positive sense of self, and challenge the areas you want to see yourself grow in. Kelsea believes in the importance of positive regard helping to dismantle the shame that may be instilled while acknowledging the potential for change through your own lived-expertise. Kelsea has a special passion for addressing stigma, shame, self acceptance, and self accommodation around concerns of ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, trauma and interpersonal relationships using a multitheraputic informed approach with aspects of CBT, DBT, somatic and humanistic therapies.

Bringing a unique blend of experience in case management, program development, clinical care and lived experience, Kelsea is able to use a person centered approach while acknowledging systemic impact and barriers to change. She uses a client led approach in which session focuses on the topics most important to you, encourages self advocacy, self-direction, self determination, and use of the virtual space in the manner best suited to your needs. Practicing at LifeStance Health, Kelsea offers individual therapy for adults aged 18 to 64. She has extensive experience working with diverse populations including those identified as Autistic and the LGBTQ+ community. Her practice is rooted in the belief that everyone has inherent worth and she strives to provide a space where individuals can explore what makes their worth uniquely them.

Kelsea carries her professional life into her every-day tasks including spending time practicing self care and honoring her own needs. She enjoys time with her family and pets, baking sweet treats to share, reading or listening to audiobooks, moving her body, finding new music, developing her writing, trying new crafts, and observing nature. She is always open to a good book, music, or learning recommendation.
