Jill Kuhlman, LPCC,
About Jill Kuhlman (She/Her)
Jill Kuhlman helps teens and adults across Ohio navigate life’s challenges with empathy, practical guidance, and evidence-based mental health care. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns, helping clients gain insight, develop coping skills, and move toward meaningful personal growth. Whether someone is facing anxiety, depression, or the lasting effects of trauma, Jill creates a supportive space where healing and self-discovery can take place.
With over a decade of clinical experience, Jill works with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also helping clients address concerns related to grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, women’s issues, and substance use. She believes that every person’s story is unique and tailors treatment to fit each client’s goals, strengths, and circumstances. Her therapeutic approach balances compassion with practical strategies that empower clients to make lasting changes in their lives.
Jill is especially passionate about helping people navigate major life transitions and emotional challenges that can arise during different stages of adulthood. Whether someone is coping with reproductive challenges, postpartum emotional concerns, relationship difficulties, or changes in identity and life roles, she works collaboratively to help clients build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and develop a stronger sense of confidence and purpose.
Her clinical work incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She also provides affirming care for members of the LGBTQ+ community and welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, Jill offers support for a broad range of mental health concerns and personal growth goals.
Outside of her professional practice, Jill enjoys spending time with her son and family, participating in sports-related activities, and connecting with nature. These interests help her maintain balance and bring a grounded, authentic perspective to her work with clients.
Jill earned her degrees from Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo. Since beginning her counseling career in 2013, she has remained committed to helping individuals improve their mental health and quality of life. Through LifeStance Health, she proudly serves teens and adults throughout Ohio who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and other emotional concerns.
