About Lauren Sluss (She/Her)
Lauren Sluss helps patients navigate anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions with compassionate, evidence-based individual therapy. She serves adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults across Ohio through LifeStance Health, offering care that is thoughtfully tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
Her work is especially focused on supporting people facing school avoidance, women’s issues, and the emotional challenges that can arise during midlife and later life transitions. Lauren brings a strong clinical lens to helping patients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move forward with greater confidence and stability. She also works with LGBTQ+ individuals, men, and women, using approaches that honor each patient’s lived experience and personal identity.
Lauren draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to support meaningful progress in treatment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, cat, family, and friends, as well as reading, listening to audiobooks, practicing yoga, hiking, and listening to music.
