About Andrea Moreno (She/Her)

Andrea Moreno helps individuals build stability, insight, and meaningful change through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across Ohio. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Supervisor at LifeStance Health, Andrea supports teens, adults, and seniors navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Andrea provides individual therapy, group therapy, and higher levels of care including IOP and PHP, using a personalized approach that meets each person where they are.

Andrea has a strong clinical focus on trauma, substance use disorders, and mood-related conditions, integrating approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR. Andrea also has experience working with diverse populations, including individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, and military or veteran populations, while offering additional areas of expertise to support a wide range of mental health needs.

A key area of passion for Andrea is supporting individuals who are recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital or navigating court-ordered treatment. Andrea understands the unique challenges that come with these transitions and provides structured, nonjudgmental care to help patients regain stability, build coping skills, and successfully reintegrate into daily life.

Andrea’s approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in clinical expertise, helping patients better understand their experiences while developing practical tools for lasting progress. Andrea began practicing in 2018 after completing education at Boston University and Ohio University.

Outside of clinical work, Andrea enjoys reading fantasy and horror novels, with a goal of finishing 60 books in a year. Andrea also values time spent outdoors, camping, and being active with a partner and two dogs.
