Robyn Aurnou, MSW, LISW-S,
About Robyn Aurnou (She/Her)
Robyn Aurnou helps people navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. Serving children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults throughout Ohio, Robyn provides a supportive and collaborative environment where patients can explore concerns, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful personal growth. As a therapist at LifeStance Health, she offers individual, couples, and family therapy and is committed to helping each person feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Robyn has extensive experience supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She understands that emotional and behavioral challenges can affect every aspect of life, including relationships, school performance, work responsibilities, and overall well-being. Her approach is tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances, helping them build skills that foster lasting change. In addition to these areas of expertise, she provides care for a wide range of mental health concerns and life transitions.
Whether working with a child struggling in school, a teen navigating developmental challenges, or an adult managing stress and relationship concerns, Robyn emphasizes evidence-based care delivered with warmth and compassion. She utilizes therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while drawing from additional interventions when appropriate to meet each patient’s needs.
As a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor, Robyn believes that healing often begins with understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences. She works closely with individuals, couples, and families to strengthen communication, increase self-awareness, and create practical strategies for overcoming obstacles while building resilience for the future.
Robyn earned her education from The Ohio State University. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys hiking, journaling, reading mystery novels, and spending time with her Blue and Gold Macaw. These personal interests help reinforce her belief in the importance of balance, curiosity, and meaningful connection in everyday life.
