Sarah Amoroso, Therapist

Sarah Amoroso, MA, LPCC-S

Sarah Amoroso, LPCC-S, provides compassionate, individualized support to help patients navigate mental health challenges and build resilience. Serving adolescents, teens, and adults across Ohio, she creates a safe and collaborative environment where individuals can explore emotions, develop coping strategies, and work toward meaningful growth and healing.

Sarah is particularly passionate about supporting patients who have recently been discharged from psychiatric hospitalization and those navigating disability paperwork. She works closely with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, childhood behavior challenges, school avoidance, and midlife transitions. Her approach combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, mindfulness, and parent-child interaction techniques to create tailored treatment plans that meet each individual’s unique needs.

She also provides specialized care for adoption and foster care populations, individuals on the autism spectrum, LGBTQ+ patients, men, and women. Sarah emphasizes evidence-based strategies, practical skill development, and collaborative problem-solving, empowering patients to regain confidence, strengthen relationships, and manage life’s challenges effectively.

Outside of her clinical work, Sarah enjoys crochet, gardening, painting, cooking, and reading. She finds joy in creative expression and spending time nurturing her personal interests, which reflects the balance and mindfulness she encourages in her patients’ lives.
