Felicia Carney, LISW,
About Felicia Carney (She/Her)
Felicia Carney helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults build meaningful change by providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. Serving patients throughout Ohio through LifeStance Health, she creates a supportive environment where individuals and families can explore challenges, develop coping skills, and work toward lasting emotional wellness. Her clinical experience includes helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also offering support for a wide range of additional mental health concerns.
Felicia believes that effective therapy begins with understanding each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. She provides individual, couples, and family therapy, tailoring treatment to meet the needs of each client. Her approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen healthy relationships. She also offers additional therapeutic interventions to support a variety of mental health needs.
Working with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors, Felicia is passionate about helping clients overcome obstacles that interfere with their quality of life. She has experience supporting individuals facing mood disorders, life transitions, relationship concerns, grief, behavioral challenges, and stress related to medical conditions. Her goal is to help clients develop practical strategies that foster growth, confidence, and emotional well-being both in and outside of therapy.
Felicia earned degrees from Northern Kentucky University and the University of Louisville. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Independent Social Worker dedicated to providing thoughtful, client-centered care.
Outside of her professional work, Felicia enjoys crocheting, sewing, baking, cooking, gardening, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She especially values creating opportunities to connect with loved ones and build meaningful relationships.
