Rocco Capra, MS, LPCC, NCC,
About Rocco Capra (He/Him)
Rocco Capra helps adults, older adults, and couples navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical tools, and a collaborative approach to therapy. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at LifeStance Health, he works with individuals throughout Ohio who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and other mental health challenges. Rocco strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Rocco is particularly passionate about helping clients manage ADHD, work through life transitions, and strengthen relationships. He understands that challenges such as changing family roles, career shifts, midlife concerns, and transitions later in life can significantly impact emotional well-being. By partnering with clients to identify strengths, develop coping strategies, and build resilience, he helps them move toward greater balance, confidence, and fulfillment.
His clinical approach integrates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. In addition to individual therapy, he provides couples counseling for partners seeking to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their connection. Rocco also has experience supporting individuals with concerns related to bipolar disorder, grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, and additional mental health conditions.
Rocco earned his education from Capella University and Bowling Green State University. He believes effective therapy is built on trust, authenticity, and a strong therapeutic relationship, allowing clients to explore challenges while developing practical skills that support lasting growth.
Outside of his clinical work, Rocco enjoys hiking, traveling, riding motorcycles, playing guitar, and exploring music. These interests help him maintain balance and bring a sense of curiosity and connection into both his personal and professional life.
