Cindy Ochoa, LCSW,
About Cindy Ochoa (She/Her)
Cindy Ochoa helps adults and older adults throughout Oklahoma navigate life’s challenges with compassionate, practical, and personalized mental health care. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy and case management services designed to help clients overcome obstacles, strengthen resilience, and improve emotional well-being. Cindy believes that healing begins with feeling understood, and she creates a supportive environment where clients can openly explore their experiences, identify meaningful goals, and work toward lasting positive change. Cindy has extensive experience helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and grief while also supporting clients through major life transitions. Whether someone is coping with the emotional impact of loss, adjusting to changes in relationships, balancing family responsibilities, or facing new stages of life, she helps clients develop effective strategies for moving forward. She understands that each person’s story is unique and tailors treatment to meet their specific needs, strengths, and circumstances. She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals affected by domestic violence. Cindy recognizes the profound emotional, psychological, and practical challenges that can result from abusive relationships and works alongside clients to foster safety, empowerment, healing, and renewed self-confidence. Her approach emphasizes restoring a sense of control and helping clients build healthy foundations for the future. Drawing from evidence-based interventions such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and parenting-focused strategies, Cindy helps clients develop healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen relationships. She also provides support for additional mental health concerns and life challenges beyond her primary areas of focus, offering care that is both clinically informed and deeply compassionate. Cindy earned her education from Oral Roberts University and Baylor University. Her professional philosophy centers on treating the whole person, recognizing the connections between emotional health, physical wellness, relationships, and daily life. Outside of her clinical work, Cindy enjoys exploring the relationship between nutrition and mental health, cooking and baking, spending time with her dog, enjoying nature, and parenting. These personal interests reinforce her belief that wellness is built through balance, connection, and self-care. Cindy is also able to provide services in Spanish, helping more individuals access supportive mental health care in a language that feels comfortable and familiar. Serving patients across Oklahoma through LifeStance Health, she is dedicated to helping adults achieve greater emotional wellness, resilience, and confidence through every stage of life.
