Cecelia Shroyer helps adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based support. Practicing in Oregon at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for young adults, adults, and those in midlife and later life stages. Cecelia creates a welcoming space for clients to explore their emotions, build resilience, and move toward healing and growth. She understands that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming and is committed to meeting each client where they are with warmth and respect. Cecelia specializes in helping individuals cope with anxiety, grief, and trauma. With training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, she guides clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, fostering self-awareness, and developing strategies to manage stress and difficult emotions. She is especially skilled at supporting individuals during times of transition, including midlife changes, later life adjustments, and challenges related to reproductive health and women’s issues. She is particularly passionate about working with grief and loss. Whether someone is coping with the death of a loved one, the pain of divorce, or the complexities of identity-related struggles, Cecelia helps clients process their experiences and find meaning as they move forward. Her approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, offering care that honors the uniqueness of each individual’s background and story. Cecelia also has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals connected to adoption or foster care, and those navigating complex identity-related challenges. She offers additional services beyond her core specialties, always tailoring treatment to the needs of each client. Outside of her clinical work, Cecelia enjoys live theater, singing, playing piano, journaling, and spending time with her two dogs.
