Specializes In:
At LifeStance Health, Kaitlyn Hanna helps adults and older adults throughout Pennsylvania work through emotional challenges, develop effective coping skills, and build a greater sense of balance and well-being. She provides individual therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment where clients can explore their concerns openly and feel empowered to make meaningful changes. Kaitlyn works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns, helping them navigate difficult life experiences while fostering resilience and personal growth. Kaitlyn believes that healing begins with feeling understood. She takes a compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy, recognizing that every client brings unique strengths, experiences, and goals to the therapeutic relationship. Whether someone is facing a major life transition, coping with emotional distress, or seeking support for ongoing mental health concerns, she strives to provide practical tools and thoughtful guidance that promote lasting progress. Her clinical approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. These evidence-based interventions help clients identify unhelpful patterns, increase psychological flexibility, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. While Kaitlyn has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, she also supports individuals facing grief, bipolar disorder, later-life transitions, and additional mental health concerns. Kaitlyn is committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space for all clients. She has experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and values providing care that respects each person’s identity, background, and lived experience. In addition, she can communicate using American Sign Language, helping expand access to mental health services for individuals who benefit from this form of communication. She earned her education from Bloomsburg University and the University of Scranton. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2020, Kaitlyn has focused on helping clients build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives. Outside of her professional work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, being with her dog, playing video games, and putting puzzles together. These interests reflect her appreciation for connection, creativity, relaxation, and finding balance in daily life.
