About Chelsea Gordon (She/Her)
Helping teens, adults, and older adults build resilience, improve relationships, and navigate life’s challenges is at the center of Chelsea Gordon’s work at LifeStance Health. Serving patients throughout Pennsylvania, Chelsea provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each individual’s goals and circumstances. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and alcohol and drug use issues, while also supporting individuals facing a wide range of other mental health concerns. Chelsea believes meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, curiosity, and collaboration. She provides individual therapy, group therapy, and couples therapy for teens, adults, and seniors. Her approach is personalized and draws from proven interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR, with additional therapeutic modalities available based on each client’s needs. Chelsea is committed to helping clients develop practical skills, gain insight, and create lasting improvements in their emotional well-being and daily lives. A particular area of passion for Chelsea is supporting individuals navigating gender identity concerns and related life experiences. She strives to provide an affirming, respectful environment where clients can explore their identities, build self-understanding, and move toward greater authenticity and confidence. She also offers gender-affirmative medical readiness evaluations as part of her commitment to inclusive and supportive mental health care. Chelsea earned her education from Kutztown University and Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical work is grounded in ongoing learning and a dedication to providing thoughtful, client-centered care that reflects current best practices in behavioral health treatment. Outside of her professional role, Chelsea enjoys gardening, creating ceramics, reading, and spending time with her family. These interests help inspire the balance, creativity, and connection that she brings to her work with clients.
