Therapy isn’t about being broken. It’s about support, insight, and practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence. You don’t have to do it alone. Children: Big feelings like anger, sadness, or fear can be confusing. Therapy helps kids understand emotions, build coping skills, and express themselves in healthy ways. Teens: School, friendships, and identity bring real pressure. Therapy offers a safe space to talk it out, manage stress, and feel more in control. Adults: Between work, family, and responsibilities, life can feel overwhelming. Therapy helps you reset, refocus, and feel more like yourself again.

Marissa offers a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs, including Humanistic Therapy to build on your strengths, CBT to reframe unhelpful thoughts, and Motivational Interviewing to support meaningful change. She also provides Trauma-Informed Care and play-based therapy to support children in a safe, engaging way.

In your work together, you’ll find a warm, supportive space to explore your challenges openly. I help clients strengthen emotional awareness and develop practical coping skills to navigate life’s ups and downs. The goal is to guide you toward greater confidence, improved well-being, and a healthier, more fulfilling life through meaningful emotional growth.

Outside of her clinical work, Marisa enjoys spending time in the kitchen, baking sourdough bread, cookies, and other treats, and exploring new recipes. She loves cozy seasonal moments like crisp fall walks with her golden doodle, Boone, as well as quiet, hands-on activities such as puzzles, coloring, and crocheting. These hobbies allow her to recharge and stay present in her own life, bringing warmth and creativity to her therapeutic practice.
