About Sandy Thompson (She/Her)
Sandy is a licensed professional counselor and art therapist. Her eclectic approach utilizes interpersonal therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I strive to build a comfortable relationship to assist with identifying patterns of problematic thinking, insight into maladaptive behaviors and help with creating positive coping strategies. I know how important it is to find the right therapist where trust and confidence is essential for emotional expressiveness and change. She received her Masters degree (MS) from Hahnemann University and her BFA from the University of the Arts. In her free time Sandy enjoys hiking with her dogs, spending time with friends and painting. She has been with Delaware County Professional Services/ LifeStance for twenty years.
