About Angela Cooper (She/Her)
Angela is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her master’s degree in Counseling at Eastern University and her doctorate degrees in Psychology from Immaculata University. She has worked in community mental health and private practice settings serving adults, children and adolescents for over 20 years. Having worked as a clinician, supervisor, and administrator, Angela has been dedicated to working with individuals with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and various needs.
Trained in Psychodynamic Therapy, she specializes in working with people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, need help with managing anger and have difficultly managing stress. She has worked with individuals that have experienced grief and loss and those experiencing life transitions Trained in DBT, Mindfulness and CBT. Angela believes that most people can benefit from therapy as we all have problems that are bigger than ourselves. She views therapy as a safe non-judgmental place to explore solutions, express feelings and to experience growth.
