Matt Wyman, LPC,
About Matt Wyman (He/Him)
At LifeStance Health, Matt Wyman helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults throughout Pennsylvania build the skills and confidence needed to navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. He provides individual therapy in a supportive and collaborative environment where clients and families can work toward meaningful growth. Matt commonly works with concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, and childhood behavior issues, helping clients develop practical strategies for success at home, in school, and in their relationships. Matt is especially passionate about supporting young people facing anxiety, ADHD, and school avoidance. He understands how these challenges can impact academic performance, self-esteem, peer relationships, and family dynamics. By partnering closely with clients and their caregivers, he helps identify obstacles, strengthen coping skills, and create achievable goals that support both emotional well-being and long-term success. He also has experience helping children and adolescents navigate complex life transitions and stressors that can affect daily functioning. His therapeutic approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions. Matt works with a wide range of clients, including individuals in adoption and foster care systems, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those with autism spectrum disorders. In addition to his primary areas of focus, he provides support for depression, trauma-related concerns, gender identity exploration, and other emotional and behavioral health needs. Matt believes that effective therapy begins with trust, curiosity, and a genuine understanding of each person’s experience. He strives to create a welcoming space where children, teens, young adults, and families feel heard, respected, and empowered to make lasting positive changes. He earned his education from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Richmond, bringing a strong foundation of clinical knowledge to his work with young people and families. Outside of therapy, Matt enjoys watching sports, especially the Jets, Yankees, and Knicks. He also enjoys playing video games, learning about history, and challenging himself through bouldering.
