About Paul Williams (He/Him)

LifeStance Health therapist Paul Williams helps teens, adults, and older adults build practical skills to navigate emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and improve overall well-being. Serving patients throughout Pennsylvania, he provides individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment where clients can work toward meaningful and lasting change. Paul commonly helps individuals facing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting concerns such as ADHD, grief, life transitions, sleep difficulties, and relationship challenges. A particular area of passion for Paul is working with adolescents and teens who are struggling with behavioral concerns, school avoidance, emotional regulation, and the pressures that come with growing up. He understands that young people often face unique social, academic, and family stressors, and he partners closely with families when appropriate to help create healthier patterns of communication and support. His approach focuses on helping young clients develop confidence, resilience, and effective coping skills that can serve them throughout life. Paul also enjoys helping couples and families improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen important relationships. He works with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, and those involved with adoption or foster care experiences. In addition to his primary areas of expertise, he offers support for a variety of emotional, behavioral, and life adjustment concerns. His treatment approach is tailored to each person’s needs and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies, along with additional evidence-based interventions. Paul believes that effective therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on respect, authenticity, and a genuine understanding of each client’s goals. Paul earned his education from Delaware State College and Walden University. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys cycling, listening to jazz music, and salsa dancing. These interests reflect his appreciation for balance, personal growth, and staying connected to the activities that bring meaning and enjoyment to life.
