About Jo-Ann Psoras (She/Her)

At LifeStance Health, Jo-Ann Psoras helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults navigate emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and build practical skills for lasting mental wellness. Serving patients throughout Pennsylvania, she provides compassionate, personalized therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns, while also supporting a range of additional mental health and relationship needs. Jo-Ann believes that meaningful change happens when clients feel understood, supported, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. As a marriage and family therapist, she takes a collaborative approach that considers the impact of family systems, life experiences, and personal strengths. Through individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services, she helps clients develop healthier patterns of thinking, communicating, and coping. A significant focus of Jo-Ann’s work is helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma. She understands how these challenges can affect daily functioning, relationships, self-confidence, and overall well-being. Her approach emphasizes creating a safe and supportive space where clients can process difficult experiences, develop resilience, and move toward meaningful personal growth. In addition to these areas, she provides support for a variety of other mental health concerns, including relationship difficulties, grief, and life transitions. Jo-Ann utilizes evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and couples/marital counseling techniques to help clients gain insight and develop effective coping strategies. She tailors treatment to each individual, couple, or family, recognizing that every person’s path to healing is unique. She earned her education from Montgomery County Community College, La Salle University, and Arcadia University. Her diverse training and clinical experience have contributed to a thoughtful, holistic approach to mental health care that values both emotional healing and practical problem-solving. Outside of her professional work, Jo-Ann enjoys gardening, baking, walking, art, and creative writing. These interests reflect her appreciation for creativity, mindfulness, and the importance of finding balance and meaning in everyday life.
