About KENNETH ORREGO (He/Him)

Kenneth Orrego helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults throughout Pennsylvania build the skills and confidence needed to overcome emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. As a counselor at LifeStance Health, he provides compassionate, individualized therapy that empowers patients and families to better understand difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. His primary areas of focus include anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting individuals facing a variety of additional mental health concerns. A particular area of passion for Kenneth is helping families navigate parental custody situations and the emotional challenges that often accompany them. He understands that changes in family structure can have a significant impact on children, adolescents, and caregivers. Through a supportive and balanced approach, he helps families improve communication, reduce conflict, and develop healthy strategies that prioritize the emotional well-being of children while fostering stability during times of transition. Kenneth believes that effective therapy begins with building trust and creating a safe environment where patients feel heard and understood. He works with children and teens experiencing behavioral concerns, school avoidance, trauma-related difficulties, and challenges related to identity development. His approach incorporates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and family-focused therapeutic strategies. He has experience supporting individuals in foster and adoptive families, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders. In addition to his primary specialties, he provides support for a broad range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Kenneth is committed to helping patients recognize their strengths and develop practical tools that support long-term growth and resilience. He earned his education from Albright College and Chestnut Hill College, where he developed a strong foundation in counseling and family-centered care. Outside of his clinical work, Kenneth enjoys cooking, gardening, gaming, axe throwing, and spending time with friends, family, and his dog. These interests reflect his belief in maintaining balance, connection, and personal well-being.
