Chris Igidbashian, Therapist

Chris Igidbashian, MA, LPC

At LifeStance Health, Chris Igidbashian helps adults and seniors across Pennsylvania navigate anxiety, depression, and the lasting effects of trauma with practical, evidence-based strategies and compassionate care. He provides individual therapy in a supportive environment where clients can build resilience, improve emotional balance, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence in PA. Chris specializes in anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments, including midlife and later life transitions. He works with adults and older adults who may be adjusting to change, coping with loss, or managing long-standing emotional distress. His clinical experience also includes working with individuals impacted by head injuries, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and military veterans, while offering additional support across a range of mental health concerns. His approach is grounded in mindfulness-based therapy, helping clients increase present-moment awareness, reduce stress, and develop healthier responses to difficult thoughts and emotions. Chris integrates this work into a collaborative process that empowers clients to better understand their internal experiences and make meaningful, sustainable changes. Chris is dedicated to meeting each individual where they are, tailoring care to their unique background, experiences, and goals. He is particularly passionate about helping clients regain a sense of purpose and stability during periods of transition, guiding them toward improved well-being and stronger coping skills. He earned his education from the University of Pittsburgh and Drexel University. Outside of his clinical work, Chris enjoys spending time with family, creating music, fishing, barbecuing, and following the Philadelphia Eagles, bringing a grounded and relatable perspective to his therapeutic work.
