About Christine Almonord (She/Her)
Christine Almonord, LICSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2023. She earned her B.A. in Child Advocacy & Psychology from Montclair State University, a Graduate Certificate in Teaching from the University of North Carolina, and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Tennessee.
Christine works with adults navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and issues of identity and self-worth. Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and other integrative methods, while prioritizing empathetic listening and validation.
Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, empowered, and equipped with practical tools for growth and healing.
Outside of her clinical work, Christine enjoys spending time with family, going to the gym, arts & crafts, and walking outdoors.
