About Tara Beason (She/Her)

Tara Beason helps patients build stability, resilience, and meaningful change through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. Serving clients across Tennessee, she provides a supportive space where teens, young adults, adults, and seniors can address emotional, behavioral, and life transition challenges while developing practical coping skills for long-term wellness. Her clinical approach focuses on treating anxiety, depression, and alcohol and drug use issues, while also supporting individuals navigating complex life stressors. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to help patients regulate emotions, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and strengthen daily functioning. She also has experience supporting first responders, LGBTQ+ individuals, and offers care for additional concerns beyond those highlighted. Tara is especially passionate about working with individuals recently discharged from psychiatric hospitals and those participating in court-ordered treatment. She understands the unique pressures these experiences bring and focuses on continuity of care, accountability, and reintegration into daily life with dignity and support. Her work with teens and adults is grounded in empathy, structure, and collaboration, helping clients navigate trauma, mood instability, and major life transitions with clarity and confidence. Outside of her clinical work, Tara enjoys spending time with family, working out, being outdoors, binge-watching movies and shows, and crocheting. She is also a proud mom to one precious boy. Tara Beason provides mental health therapy services throughout Tennessee.
