About Claudia Walker (She/Her)

Claudia Walker is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 30 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation from UT SW Medical, her Masters in Clinical Psychology Neuroscience from the University of Texas. Claudia believes in a counseling style that is direct but relaxed, as she does not want to waste her client’s time and wants them to feel free to speak their mind and know they will not be judged but accepted. She treats clients with respect and guides each person into their desired goals for progress and development. Claudia’s foundational theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioral therapy, but her approach is based on the need of each client, like utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder. In her free time, Claudia enjoys the arts, movies, animals, music, and mentoring.
