Mayah Cash, MSSW, LCSW,
About Mayah Cash (She/Her)
Mayah Cash helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and practical strategies for growth. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides therapy for patients across Texas, supporting individuals and families who are seeking meaningful change, emotional healing, and greater resilience. Her therapeutic style is collaborative and affirming, creating a space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to move forward. Mayah has experience helping individuals facing anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting concerns such as relationship difficulties, life transitions, trauma, grief, behavioral challenges, and women’s mental health. She provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique goals and circumstances. Her approach focuses on building strengths, improving coping skills, and helping patients develop confidence in their ability to manage life’s complexities. One of Mayah’s greatest passions is helping people discover and use their voice while creating a meaningful place for themselves in the world. She is dedicated to supporting personal growth, education, achievement, and long-term success. Whether working with a child experiencing behavioral concerns, a teen navigating identity and social pressures, or an adult facing major life transitions, she strives to help each patient recognize their strengths and build a path toward lasting well-being. Her clinical approach may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with additional evidence-based interventions when appropriate. She believes therapy should be both supportive and practical, helping patients develop skills they can apply in everyday life. Outside of her clinical work, Mayah enjoys baking and cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with family. These experiences reinforce her belief in the importance of connection, balance, and lifelong learning.
