About Raisa M Brownell (She/Her)
Mx. Raisa Brownell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia who has been practicing since 2020. She has a Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University. Raisa provides person-centered interventions to increase the client’s sense of agency in achieving treatment goals using evidence-based practice (EBP). She is a skilled provider of individual, group, and family therapy using specific evidence-based practice, including Eco-systemic Family Therapy (ESFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral theory (TFCBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) for persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses and behavioral crises. She believes in partnership with clients to achieve their identified treatment goals. In her spare time, Raisa enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and biking.
