Victoria Scott is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has been practicing for over 5 years in the state of Virginia. She graduated with a Master of Education degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from East Tennessee State University. Victoria’s background in Family Systems Therapy allows her to provide therapy to both individuals, couples, and families. Victoria also focuses on techniques that incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in order to help clients learn effective coping skills in the hope that they can better deal with various issues as related to stress, frustration, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, grief, trauma, and relational difficulties. Victoria works with clients to empower them to find their own voice and inner strength while providing encouragement and empathy during difficult times. Victoria’s approach to therapy is to be genuine while providing empathy and understanding. Victoria feels that building trust in the therapeutic relationship is crucial and that providing clients with a safe place to express themselves is essential in order to help them achieve their own goals while also feeling validation and acceptance. Victoria enjoys painting and hiking as ways to self-reflect and just relax!
