About Alexis Arnette-Bowen (She/Her)
Alexis Arnette, LPC Alexis Arnette is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia who has been practicing since 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Spelman College and a Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Alexis believes two things very strongly: that all health starts in the gut and that behavioral is the dance we do to the emotional music in our hearts. She feels that counseling is a journey, and as a therapist, it is her pleasure to be a fellow traveler with those around her, as there is no person immune to the inherent tragedies of existence. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys spending time dabbling in the arts, video games, and the world of exercise and nutrition.
