Sarah Folger helps teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s most difficult emotional and mental health challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a deeply collaborative approach. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for patients throughout Washington. Sarah creates a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered as they work toward meaningful change. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also helping individuals facing a broad range of mental health concerns and life stressors. She understands that the transition back into daily life can feel overwhelming and works closely with clients to build stability, strengthen coping skills, and reduce the risk of relapse. Her experience includes helping people manage severe and persistent mental health conditions, including psychosis, mania, suicidal thoughts, burnout, and compassion fatigue. Through a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, she helps clients regain confidence, reconnect with their goals, and move forward with greater resilience. Her therapeutic style is rooted in empathic listening, safety, and respect for each client’s lived experience. Sarah draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques to tailor treatment to individual needs. She also offers additional evidence-based interventions and has experience working with diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Since beginning her clinical work in 2016, Sarah has supported clients across a wide range of ages and presenting concerns. She works with teens, adults, and seniors, adapting treatment to each person’s developmental stage, cultural background, and personal goals. Her care emphasizes practical tools, emotional safety, and lasting growth. Sarah earned her education through Argosy University and Argosy University–Seattle. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys exploring philosophy, history, art, nature, and spending time with animals. These interests reflect her curiosity about the human experience and her appreciation for personal growth, creativity, and connection.
