Leah is committed to helping children (4+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families manage a variety of mental health concerns. Leah has specific experience working with behavior concerns/ disorders, parenting issues, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma related concerns and PTSD, family concerns/ relationship issues, and women’s issues (pregnancy loss and perinatal mood/ anxiety disorders). Leah’s work focuses on targeting ineffective ways of coping, improving relationships with ourselves and those around us, understanding barriers to living the life we want to live, and working to address those barriers in a healthy and sustainable way. Her work uses components of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Leah is passionate about not only helping clients in the office, but also providing clients with resources and lasting change that can be used and maintained long after the therapeutic relationship comes to a close.
