Tanner Simpson, LPC, helps teens, adults, and older adults build practical skills to manage emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change. Practicing at LifeStance Health, he serves patients across Wisconsin with a calm, collaborative approach that blends compassion with evidence-based mental health care. His work is grounded in helping people feel understood while developing tools they can apply in daily life. A focus of Tanner’s clinical work is supporting individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related concerns. He is passionate about helping clients understand how stress, thought patterns, and past experiences influence behavior and self-esteem. Using trauma‑informed care, he works with patients to build emotional flexibility, reduce avoidance, and regain a sense of control—whether they are struggling with school stress, attentional challenges, or long-standing anxiety that interferes with work, sleep, or relationships. Tanner provides individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy, tailoring treatment to the needs of each client system. He commonly integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies to support sustainable progress. In addition to anxiety and ADHD, his experience includes depression and obsessive-compulsive concerns, with additional areas addressed as therapy progresses. He has experience working with adolescents and teens, as well as adults and seniors, and welcomes individuals connected to adoption or foster care and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Outside of clinical work, Tanner enjoys miniature sculpting and painting, as well as creating tabletop systems.
