Emily Jones, LPC, specializes in working with teens and adults across Wisconsin who are struggling with OCD, anxiety, trauma, and substance use concerns. She has intensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy for OCD and the Matrix Model for substance use treatment, allowing her to provide structured, evidence-based care that is practical, compassionate, and focused on real-life change.

Emily’s approach is collaborative, direct, and nonjudgmental. She helps clients better understand the patterns keeping them stuck, build coping skills, reduce avoidance, and take realistic steps toward the life they want to create. Her work often includes helping clients challenge fear-based thoughts, tolerate discomfort, strengthen emotional regulation, and make healthier choices even when change feels overwhelming.

Emily is especially passionate about treating OCD and addiction. In her work with OCD, she uses Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy to help clients gradually face feared situations while reducing compulsions, reassurance-seeking, avoidance, and rituals. In her work with substance use, Emily integrates the Matrix Model to help clients understand triggers, cravings, relapse patterns, relationships, motivation, and recovery skills in a structured and supportive way.

Emily also supports clients experiencing PTSD/trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, sleep concerns, relationship stress, and life transitions. She provides court-ordered treatment with a balance of structure, accountability, respect, and empathy. Emily has experience working with adolescents, adults, LGBTQ+ clients, first responders, military members, and veterans.

Outside of therapy, Emily enjoys video games, especially RPGs and Call of Duty, with Black Ops 1 Zombies still holding elite status. She also sings, plays piano, cheers for the Wisconsin Badgers, and spends time with her dog, Shadow, who may occasionally make a curious appearance during virtual sessions.
