About Brenda Hunter (She/Her)
Brenda Hunter, LPC, helps teens and adults find practical solutions to emotional, relationship, and life transition challenges while building on their existing strengths. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy and couples therapy for patients throughout Wisconsin. Brenda works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, helping them gain insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brenda helps clients develop effective tools for managing emotions, improving relationships, and increasing psychological flexibility. She works with a diverse range of individuals, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and first responders. In addition to her primary areas of focus, Brenda offers support for a variety of mental health concerns and life circumstances. Brenda earned her degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Outside of her work, Brenda enjoys biking, hiking, and reading.
