Sandy is a licensed professional counselor with over 25 years of experience. She utilizes various approaches to help individuals resolve conflict, enhance connection, develop skills to communicate more meaningfully and, when applicable, to address issues arising from domestic violence and sexual assault or abuse. Sandy is experienced working with adults who want to reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, or adjust to significant life transitions while creating meaning and purpose. She works to promote post-traumatic growth and healing, build resiliency, process grief and loss, challenge negative thinking, regulate emotions, increase understanding of healthy boundaries and facilitate greater insight towards better decision-making. Sandy studied clinical psychology at the doctoral level at the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology.
