About Elizabeth Menon (She/Her)
Elizabeth Menon obtained her Master’s in Clinical Counseling: Art Therapy from Adler University Chicago and has been practicing since 2020. She has worked with diverse populations and passionate about providing services to underserved populations, such as the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folks, to address systemic stressors impacting them daily. Elizabeth has worked in community care, substance use settings, primary care clinics, and outpatient clinics. Elizabeth works with adults ages 18 + to address anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, life transitions, interpersonal relationship concerns, and systemic barriers. She is currently working on obtaining her Registered Art Therapist (ATR) Credential and is passionate about incorporating Art Therapy with clients to address their specific mental health goals. She is integrative, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Adlerian Art Therapy practices through a trauma-informed lens. In her free time, you can find Elizabeth outdoors when it is warm either running, riding her bike, or roller skating. She enjoys making art, spending time with her cats, reading, and gaming. Elizabeth looks forward to supporting you on your journey and looks forward to meeting you!
