About Ashleigh Kovacik (She/Her)

Ashleigh Kovacik, LPC, helps teens and adults develop effective coping strategies, overcome emotional barriers, and create meaningful change in their lives through compassionate, evidence-based therapy. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides mental health services to clients throughout Wisconsin, supporting individuals with navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Ashleigh believes that therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to actively participate in their healing journey. Ashleigh works with individuals facing a variety of life stressors and mental health concerns. She recognizes that each person’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique, and she tailors treatment accordingly. Her therapeutic approach focuses on helping clients build self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and develop practical skills that support long-term emotional wellness. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, she provides support for a range of additional concerns, including grief, life transitions, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use challenges. Using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Ashleigh helps clients identify unhelpful patterns, manage distressing emotions, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. She also incorporates mindfulness-based strategies to help clients remain grounded and focused in the present moment. Through individual and family therapy services, she works collaboratively with clients to build lasting skills that extend beyond the therapy session. Ashleigh is passionate about helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma. She understands how these concerns can affect relationships, work, self-confidence, and overall quality of life. Her goal is to help clients process difficult experiences, gain insight into their emotional responses, and develop healthier ways of coping so they can move forward with greater confidence and stability. She earned her degrees from Mount Mary University and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Her clinical approach combines professional expertise with genuine compassion, allowing her to meet clients where they are while supporting meaningful growth and progress. Outside of her work as a therapist, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, going on walks, listening to music, shopping, and crafting.
