Jenny L. Evancy, LCSW, helps adults build stability, insight, and momentum when life feels overwhelming by offering thoughtful, evidence-based therapy across Wisconsin. Serving patients throughout WI, she partners with individuals who are navigating emotional distress, substance use concerns, and major life transitions, creating a supportive space that balances compassion with clinical clarity. Jennifer practices at LifeStance Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. She provides individual therapy for adults and seniors, with focused experience treating anxiety, depression, and alcohol and drug use issues, while also addressing additional concerns as they arise. Her approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies, and she collaborates in care that may include Spravato/ketamine services when appropriate. Jennifer works with diverse adults, including LGBTQ+ individuals, and tailors treatment to each person’s goals, strengths, and pace. A central passion of Jennifer’s work is supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital and those participating in court-ordered treatment. She understands the vulnerability and pressure that can accompany these circumstances and prioritizes continuity of care, clear expectations, and practical coping tools. Jenny specializes in, and is passionate about, treating complex trauma and dissociative disorders. She understands the importance of the therapeutic relationship and takes times to build a relationship with her clients based on trust, connection, empathy, and transparency. Jenny primarily uses Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) to treat all forms of trauma and views clients through this modality. Additionally, she uses CRM in conjunction with KAP and has seen vast improvements in anxiety, depression, and trauma symptomology. She has taken the following trainings in CRM: Foundations of CRM, Case Conceptualization and Treatment of Severe Dissociative Disorders, CRM and Psychedelics: Using CRM Adjunctively for Preparation, Processing, and Integration of “Medicine Work,” CRM Mapping the Dissociative States, and CRM Generational Healing. Jenny is part of an ongoing Generational Healing International Group which focuses on continuing to advance her generational healing skills.

Her goal is to help patients regain a sense of control, reduce the risk of rehospitalization or recidivism, and build sustainable skills for long-term mental health and recovery. Jennifer has been practicing since 2016 and is known for her calm, direct, and collaborative style. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys staying active, spending time with her family, and attending rock concerts.
