Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing psychotherapy services and psycho-educational groups to adults since 2001. Amy has worked extensively with eating disorders on the outpatient and intensive outpatient levels in her private practice and on the inpatient level at Rogers Memorial Hospital. She volunteered for years at the Eating Disorder Foundation in Denver, Colorado, eventually helping them create and open a unique support center dedicated to long term eating disorder recovery.

Amy also works extensively with issues of codependency, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, self-esteem and trauma. She is EMDR certified and has additional training in Gestalt therapy.

Amy’s mission is to provide a collaborative, safe space for self-exploration. She uses a variety of treatment modalities to guide you through complex emotions, help you identify ineffective thoughts and behavior patterns and create manageable steps toward authentic change.

Amy received her undergraduate degree in Consumer Science from the University of Wisconsin Madison and her Master of Science degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, barre class and hanging out with her family, friends, husband and cat.
