Drea Straw, LPC, helps clients in Wisconsin navigate life’s challenges with compassion, collaboration, and clinical expertise. She provides a safe and supportive space for children, adolescents, and adults to explore their emotions, gain insight, and develop effective strategies for growth and healing. Through individual, family, and group therapy, Drea partners with clients to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns while empowering them to live more balanced and fulfilling lives. Drea is especially passionate about helping clients work through trauma, anxiety, and depression. She believes that healing begins with understanding the unique experiences that shape each person’s story and provides evidence-based care to promote resilience and recovery. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, she tailors treatment to meet each client’s individual needs and goals. In addition to her work with anxiety and mood disorders, Drea has a deep commitment to supporting individuals managing ADHD, PTSD, and life transitions. She also specializes in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, and those experiencing grief or relationship difficulties. Her approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and strengths-based, helping clients build confidence, coping skills, and emotional awareness. Outside of her clinical work, Drea loves to travel and finds joy in spending time with animals.
