Shannon Broeker, Therapist

Shannon Broeker, LPC, ATR-P

Shannon Broeker, LPC, ATR, helps children, adolescents, and adults across Wisconsin navigate life’s challenges with care, creativity, and evidence-based support. She provides individual and family therapy to address concerns such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, and trauma. By creating a safe and welcoming environment, Shannon empowers her patients to build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways to cope. Her approach blends structure with compassion, supporting clients of all ages—from young children through seniors—on their path toward healing and growth. Shannon is especially passionate about using Art Therapy as a healing tool. She believes creative expression can unlock emotions that are difficult to put into words, providing new insights and pathways toward recovery. Whether working with a child struggling with behavior challenges, a teen experiencing grief, or an adult processing trauma, Shannon uses artmaking as a bridge to deeper self-understanding and personal growth. In her practice at LifeStance Health, Shannon integrates a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), faith-based treatment, and mindfulness. This allows her to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each individual or family. She has experience supporting women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and military veterans, while also offering care for additional populations. Shannon’s expertise includes helping clients manage grief, navigate later life transitions, and address childhood behavior issues with compassion and skill. Outside of her clinical work, Shannon enjoys artmaking, reading, fishing, and spending time in nature.
