About Sarah Mouhtarim (She/Her)
Sarah Mouhtarim, LMSW, helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults across Delaware navigate emotional and behavioral challenges with compassionate, evidence-based care at LifeStance Health. She provides individual therapy tailored to each client’s needs, supporting those experiencing ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Sarah creates a welcoming, collaborative space where clients feel heard and empowered while developing practical skills to improve daily functioning, relationships, and overall well-being. Sarah is especially skilled in working with children and adolescents facing childhood behavior issues, as well as teens and young adults managing life transitions, stress, and mood concerns. She also has experience supporting individuals from adoption and foster care backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and women seeking affirming, inclusive care. Her approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and build healthier coping strategies. She offers additional support for concerns such as grief and other related challenges. With a focus on building trust and fostering resilience, Sarah takes a strengths-based approach that encourages personal growth while addressing each client’s unique experiences. She strives to help every individual feel confident in their ability to overcome obstacles and achieve meaningful progress in their mental health journey. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys going to the movies, traveling, building with Legos, and reading.
