About Lizsette Mancilla (She/Her)
Lizsette Mancilla, LSW, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Illinois navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and practical support. As a Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she partners with patients to better understand their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Lizsette provides therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting individuals facing ADHD, relationship difficulties, grief, substance use concerns, and other mental health challenges. She offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique goals and circumstances. Lizsette is especially passionate about helping individuals and families affected by anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma. She recognizes how these concerns can impact relationships, work, school performance, and overall well-being. Through a supportive and collaborative therapeutic process, she helps patients develop healthier coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and move toward improved confidence and quality of life. Whether someone is struggling with persistent worry, the effects of past traumatic experiences, or symptoms of depression, Lizsette works to create a safe space where healing and growth can occur. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She believes effective therapy should be both practical and empowering, helping patients identify patterns, develop new perspectives, and build skills they can apply in everyday life. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, Lizsette offers support for a wide range of mental health and life concerns. Lizsette earned her education from Chamberlain University and Roosevelt University, where she developed a strong foundation in behavioral health and therapeutic care. She is committed to ongoing learning and remains dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered treatment that reflects current best practices. Outside of her clinical work, Lizsette enjoys reading, learning new things, spending time with family, solving puzzles, going to the cinema, and attending live music events. These interests help her maintain balance and bring a sense of creativity and perspective to her work with patients.
Lizsette Mancilla provides services with supervision.
