About Nahajha Alston (She/Her)
Nahajha Alston, LCSW-Associate, helps children, adolescents, and teens across North Carolina build emotional resilience, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. As a provisionally licensed social worker at LifeStance Health, she provides a supportive, structured environment where young clients and their families feel heard and empowered to make meaningful progress. Nahajha is especially passionate about working with youth experiencing anxiety, ADHD, and childhood behavior issues. She partners closely with families to understand each child’s unique needs, offering practical strategies that improve emotional regulation, communication, and daily functioning. Her approach is both compassionate and goal-oriented, helping young clients develop skills that extend beyond therapy into school, home, and social settings. Her clinical work also includes treating concerns such as depression and trauma, while incorporating evidence-based interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. She has experience supporting diverse populations, including individuals in adoption or foster care, those with autism spectrum disorders, and individuals with developmental disabilities, and offers additional areas of support tailored to each client’s goals. Nahajha is committed to ongoing professional growth and staying informed on effective, research-backed approaches to care. Outside of her clinical work, Nahajha enjoys health and fitness training, painting, and spending time in nature—activities that reflect her belief in holistic wellness and balance.
Nahajha Alston provides services with supervision.
