Anna Sanchez, Therapy Clinician

Anna Sanchez, LCSWA

Anna Sanchez, LCSW-Associate, helps teens, adults, and seniors across North Carolina build resilience, gain clarity, and move toward meaningful change through evidence-based, compassionate care at LifeStance Health. She provides individual therapy for clients ages 15 and older, who are navigating anxiety, depression, mood instability, and life transitions. Her approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and a deep understanding of how mental health challenges can affect relationships, work, school, and overall well-being. Anna is especially passionate about treating anxiety, depression, as well as trauma-related concerns. She understands how overwhelming persistent worry, low mood, or unresolved trauma can feel, and she works closely with clients to develop practical tools for emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, and increased self-awareness. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies, she helps individuals identify unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and foster lasting emotional balance. Her work is tailored to each client’s unique experiences, with a focus on measurable progress and sustainable growth. In addition to mood and trauma-related disorders, Anna supports individuals facing bipolar disorder, grief, eating disorders, psychosis, and complex life transitions, including midlife and later life changes. She has experience working with women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals with developmental disabilities, offering affirming and inclusive mental health services. When appropriate, she integrates strategies that address the connection between physical health and emotional well-being, recognizing the whole person in treatment. Outside of her clinical work, Anna enjoys reading, spending time with her family and cats, and also participating in monthly 5K marathons.

Anna Sanchez provides services with supervision.
