About Carrie De Los Reyes (She/Her)

Carrie De Los Reyes, LAC, helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults build resilience, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. As a counselor associate at LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for patients throughout New Jersey. Carrie works collaboratively with clients to create a supportive therapeutic environment where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Carrie has experience treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting individuals facing challenges related to substance use, grief, childhood behavioral concerns, relationship difficulties, women’s issues, and major life transitions. She offers individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and case management services, tailoring treatment plans to each client’s unique needs and goals. Her approach emphasizes practical skills, emotional growth, and long-term well-being. Carrie is especially passionate about helping clients work through anxiety, trauma, and substance use concerns. She understands how these experiences can affect every aspect of daily life, from relationships and self-esteem to work, school, and overall health. By creating a safe and nonjudgmental space, she helps clients develop coping strategies, process difficult experiences, and move toward lasting recovery and emotional wellness. Her therapeutic style integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with additional evidence-based interventions. Carrie believes that successful therapy is built on a strong therapeutic relationship and works to ensure clients feel supported while gaining practical tools they can apply outside of sessions. Outside of her clinical work, Carrie enjoys painting, practicing yoga, going to the gym, trying new foods, and reading a wide variety of books, ranging from fantasy and true crime to classic literature. She is also an avid reality television fan and shares her home with three cats, who may occasionally make a guest appearance during virtual sessions. Carrie earned her education from William Paterson University of New Jersey and is committed to ongoing professional growth to better serve her clients.

Carrie De Los Reyes provides services with supervision.
