Kevin Robayo, LAC, helps individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges by creating a safe, supportive, and culturally informed therapeutic space. Practicing in New Jersey at LifeStance Health, he works with teens, adults, and older adults facing a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns. Kevin meets each person where they are and partners with them to uncover their goals, strengthen their inner resilience, and move toward lasting change. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, substance use, or relationship issues, Kevin is committed to delivering care that is non-judgmental, empowering, and grounded in clinical expertise. Kevin has a particular passion for working with individuals who are navigating addiction, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and men’s issues. He offers a person-centered and trauma-informed approach that helps clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they work through emotional pain or significant stressors. Kevin’s work often includes helping clients understand how past experiences, identity, and environment intersect to shape their current struggles—and how those insights can be used to guide healing and self-discovery. He is especially attuned to the challenges that come with midlife changes, grief, masculinity, and gender identity, and he provides a space that fosters personal growth and authenticity. Kevin integrates a range of evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). He also incorporates mindfulness practices and EMDR to support trauma recovery and emotional regulation. He provides both individual and group therapy, as well as couples counseling, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP). He is skilled in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, first responders, and those recovering from head injuries, and offers additional interventions tailored to the needs of diverse populations. Outside of his clinical work, Kevin enjoys exercising, writing, reading, exploring political issues, and playing video games. His interests fuel his natural curiosity and compassion, both of which enrich his work as a therapist.
