About Troi-Elizabeth Marshall (She/Her)
Troi-Elizabeth Marshall helps adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults throughout New Jersey navigate emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and build skills for lasting mental wellness. As a Counselor Associate at LifeStance Health, she provides individual, couples, and family therapy in a supportive and collaborative environment. Troi-Elizabeth believes meaningful change begins with feeling understood, and she works closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, strengths, and life experiences. Her clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, helping clients manage symptoms that can impact daily functioning, relationships, work, and overall quality of life. Troi-Elizabeth takes a compassionate, client-centered approach that combines evidence-based techniques with genuine empathy. She understands that no two individuals experience mental health challenges in the same way and strives to help each client develop practical tools for growth, resilience, and emotional balance. In addition to these areas of expertise, she provides support for a wide range of mental health concerns and life transitions. Troi-Elizabeth is particularly passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma-related experiences. She recognizes the profound impact these challenges can have on self-esteem, relationships, and personal fulfillment. Through therapy, she helps clients process difficult emotions, identify unhelpful patterns, and cultivate healthier ways of coping. Her goal is to empower clients to move beyond survival mode and create meaningful, sustainable changes in their lives. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. She also works with couples and families and supports individuals facing concerns such as ADHD, grief, substance use challenges, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, and relationship difficulties. Because her experience spans a broad range of clinical concerns, she is able to provide support for many additional mental health needs beyond her primary specialties. Troi-Elizabeth earned her education from Springfield College and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She is committed to ongoing professional development and to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care that promotes healing, self-discovery, and long-term well-being. Outside of her clinical work, Troi-Elizabeth enjoys exercising, watching movies, and spending time with loved ones. She values maintaining balance in her own life and appreciates the importance of connection, wellness, and self-care.
