Amanda Barnett helps teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care. As a provider at LifeStance Health, she works with individuals across Oregon who are seeking support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as other mental health needs. Amanda strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and develop practical tools to support lasting emotional well-being. Amanda is especially passionate about helping people work through anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma. She understands that these concerns can affect every aspect of daily life, from relationships and work to self-esteem and physical health. By partnering closely with clients, she helps them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing strategies that support healing, growth, and meaningful change. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual’s goals, strengths, and unique circumstances. Amanda incorporates evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also offers additional therapeutic approaches to help clients manage symptoms, improve coping skills, and move toward the life they want to live. Amanda works with a wide range of clients, including teens, adults, older adults, members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and individuals involved in adoption or foster care experiences. She also has experience supporting people facing life transitions, grief, ADHD, childhood behavior concerns, and other mental health challenges. She earned her education from Pepperdine University and has been practicing since 2022. Amanda values creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. Outside of her clinical work, Amanda enjoys playing video games, knitting, and spending quality time with her family.

Amanda Barnett provides services with supervision.
