About Kylea Sundberg (They/Them)
Kylea Sundberg helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults navigate emotional and behavioral challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and individualized care. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, they provide mental health services to patients throughout Oregon, creating a supportive space where people can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Kylea works with individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, while also helping patients manage a wide range of additional mental health concerns. Kylea believes that effective therapy begins with understanding each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. They offer individual therapy, group therapy, case management and tailoring treatment to meet the needs of each patient. Their approach draws from evidence-based interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure Therapy. In addition to their primary areas of focus, Kylea provides support for a variety of other emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. Kylea is especially committed to helping individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. They recognize how these experiences can affect relationships, school performance, work, physical health, and overall quality of life. Through a collaborative and goal-oriented process, Kylea helps patients develop practical coping skills, increase emotional resilience, and build confidence in navigating difficult situations. They are dedicated to fostering growth while honoring each person’s values, identity, and lived experience. Because Kylea works with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors, they understand how mental health needs can evolve across different stages of life. Whether supporting a young child experiencing behavioral difficulties, a teen facing school-related stress, or an adult working through anxiety or trauma, Kylea strives to provide care that is both evidence-based and deeply respectful of each patient’s individual journey. Outside of clinical practice, Kylea enjoys writing, dog training, swimming, spending time outdoors, and exploring nature.
