About Jacqueline Melbardis (She/Her)
Jacqueline Melbardis helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout Tennessee navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical support, and evidence-based therapy. As a social worker at LifeStance Health, she partners with individuals and families to build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change. Jacqueline provides individual and family therapy for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while tailoring treatment to each person’s unique goals and circumstances. A significant focus of Jacqueline’s work is supporting individuals experiencing alcohol and drug use issues. She is passionate about helping patients better understand the relationship between substance use and mental health, develop healthier coping strategies, and build sustainable paths toward recovery. Her approach is nonjudgmental, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that positive change is possible at every stage of life. Jacqueline also works with individuals facing trauma, grief, mood disorders, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. She incorporates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while offering additional therapeutic approaches based on each patient’s needs. She values creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make progress. She earned her education from Wayne State University and Middle Tennessee State University, bringing a strong foundation of clinical knowledge to her work with adolescents, adults, and seniors. Outside of her professional role, Jacqueline enjoys going to the movies, taking her dogs on walks, canoeing, and spending time with family. These activities help her stay connected, balanced, and energized in her work with patients. Through LifeStance Health, Jacqueline is proud to provide mental health counseling and therapy services to teens, adults, and older adults across Tennessee. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use concerns, or other mental health challenges, she is committed to helping them move toward greater wellness and fulfillment.
